About Fanchon

Fanchon is a 15-time Emmy award winning TV host, national speaker and former journalist. Fanchon inspires and motivates audiences by sharing the wisdom she’s learned from overcoming life’s challenges and disappointments both personally and professionally. What you see in Fanchon now, is cultivated grace undergirded by her faith and the courage to push forward. Fanchon’s story of grit and grace has inspired her to galvanize other women and together they share valuable life lessons with others nationwide, particularly young ladies.

As a little girl Fanchon’s love of animals and western lifestyle led to her love for PBR. The level of care and compassion the animals receive coincides with the grit and grace value of selfless compassion. The metaphor of bull riding provides a powerful visual of what it looks like for young ladies to live out grit and grace: never give up, never give in, always fight to get back up and keep going.

When she became a bull owner with her dear friend Chad Berger, it was a dream come true! Grit & Grace Bulls: Stinger (named after Fanchon) and Lil Hott.

It was also the birth of Grit and Grace Nation and its historic alliance with the PBR.

About Stinger and Lil Hott

I never wanted to be just a bull owner. Grit & Grace Bulls is so much more! I told my partner Chad Berger, (Chad Berger Bucking Bulls) from the start, “I want Stinger and Lil Hott to know I’m their Mom! I want them to know my voice, know they’re loved, and I want them to have the best life possible!”

I love the PBR because it honors the foundations of faith, family, and freedom. Western sports is so connected to those principles and also honoring the animals who are loved and cared for at the highest levels. I believe our young ladies need a place to go where they can connect and grow as leaders in a space that's safe, encouraging and celebrates family fun. I see PBR as that place. It's an honor to align my foundation, Grit and Grace with PBR. Together we will empower and change lives.

The first time I saw Stinger compete in person I was like a proud Mom. I went through alot for that moment to become reality. It was so emotional because it represents the metaphor of my life; developing the grit to fight for your dreams, to get back up no matter what life brings, and to experience the power of grace it all brings to your life. That is how the vision for Grit & Grace came alive!

I’ve been so blessed in my television career and in my life – It is truly a story of grit and grace. My faith and the support from so many incredible people in my life helped me develop the courage, the grit, and the grace to face and overcome whatever life brings. The wisdom I learned is what I want to pass on to every little girl and young lady.
